Daddy’s Girl

Breena Jacobs, Author

Breena Jacobs makes her writing debut with Daddy's Girl. She has been writing short stories since she was a little girl when she often received recognition for her writing. Breena was inspired to write Daddy's Girl when she observed the special bond her daughters share with their father. The book’s intention is to celebrate the love and admiration young girls feel for their fathers and to celebrate fathers who play an active role in the life of their daughters. Breena's second book will be released in the Fall.

Breena has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Media from Bowie
State University and is currently seeking her Masters degree. She works full-time as a Marketing Manager and freelances part-time. When she is not writing or publishing, she enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling with her family.

  Neva Austrew, Illustrator

Neva Marita Austrew spent her foremost years giving snakes bicycle rides, hunting for frogs, and drawing. Her parents aren’t sure where her talent came from, but Neva says it came straight from her Mother’s heart and her Father’s soul. A Children’s Literature class in high school helped Neva define herself as an Illustrator. After receiving her BFA in Illustration at Syracuse University, she moved home to New Hampshire and now works as a freelance Illustrator.
